六年級的課程重心，將著重於學生的中文溝通能力。 在老師的指導下，學生初步接觸人文科學的 課文，如萬裡長城，音樂與樂器，和電腦。 並以互相對話的練習方式，來學習用中文表達自己 的意思。

All new students enrolling in all grades except Grade 1 are required to take the Placement Test before enrollment. Acceptance will be based on the test result and class vacancy.

新生報名一冊班以上，均需參加「程度測驗」，依各班名額以及程度分班 。

Students are required to wear the uniform during the class session: the Tzu Chi Academy upper outer garment with navy blue khaki trousers and white sneakers. The Tzu-chi Academy upper outer garment can be purchased from the school at the beginning of the school year. Navy blue khaki trousers and white sneakers can be purchased at stores like Kohl’s, Target, and Walmart.

學生必須穿著印有慈濟人文學校校徽之上衣及深藍色卡其長褲和白球鞋。上衣在學校購買，深藍色卡其長褲和白布鞋則於Target, Walmart 以及 Kohl’s 等商店購買。
